Our client is looking for an SAP consultant with Technical and Production expertise.
The main responsibility is overall to deliver a successful T&P solution improvement, which is right first time, meets stakeholders expectations, and enables a Legacy elimination programme, whilst protecting the existing QM solution and its users.
For new QM solutions:
Define, validate and align with stakeholders the business scenarios that are in scope for T&P.
Design, validate and align with stakeholders the high level and detailed level solution that will satisfy the business scenarios.
Configure, prototype and sign-off with stakeholders the detailed level solution that will satisfy the business scenarios.
Identify, validate and align with stakeholders the functional & technical gaps that need to be custom developed.
Write, validate and align with stakeholders the functional specifications and test scripts.
Deliver the new solution improvements right first time to production, with the relevant level of risk mitigation and stakeholder communication.
For the impact of the new solution on the existing QM solutions, the below are additional responsibilities.
Identify, validate and align with stakeholders the impacted existing solutions
Design, validate and align with stakeholders the changes required to protect the existing solution
Configure, prototype and sign-off with stakeholders the detailed level solution that will protect the existing solution.
Write, validate and align with stakeholders the functional specifications and test scripts.
Deliver the solution improvements to protect the existing solution right first time to production, with the relevant level of risk mitigation and stakeholder communication.
This role is to support the Technical and Production Streams contribution to the new Supply Chain initiative for designing, building, and implementing the new SAP module called extended warehouse management (eWM).
This job will be to a part of the T&P Stream's eWM project team to understand the new business requirements, design and build the T&P solution in both SAP ERP and SAP eWM, as well as understanding the impact on the existing QM solution, and taking the necessary steps to protect this investment.
