For our client we are currently looking for a Project Manager/Application Analyst in Basel, Switzerland.
Start date: 07.01.2013
Duration: 12 months + (with option to extend)
Location: Basel

Project Manager Role:
Accountable for delivering successful migrations as per project Master Plan;
Manage Application Analyst resources allocated to migration activities;
Reviews and approves Application Move Maps (AMMs);
Reviews and completes Detailed Migration Plans;
Reviews and approves Application Cutover Plans (ACPs);
Aligns with other Migration Leads, Vendor Delivery Teams and Application Owners the move day activities;
Tracks and manages ACPs along with Vendor MoD (Manager on Duty) during cutover days;
Ensures and facilitates business testing;
Ensures timely sign-off of "Formal Acceptance" documents;
Identify, escalate and manage resolution of migration risks and issues.

Application Analyst Role:
Responsible for engineering application migration solutions;
Verifies and documents As-Is Components with support from Application Owners or Service Delivery Managers;
Defines Move Approach per Component based on Solution Architect inputs;
Defines To-Be Components with support from Solution Architects;
Documents Special Requirements with support from Solution Architects;
Reviews and fixes move dates based on availability/constrains of Applications Owners and Vendor Delivery Teams;
Creates Application Move Map (AMM) and obtains necessary sign-offs;
Creates Application Move Specification List and Technical Specification List with support from Solution Architects;
Define Application Cutover Plans (ACPs) and obtains necessary sign-offs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Fluent in English, French and German - oral and written
Several years () of experience as Project Manager and Application Analyst
experience
IT Service Management experience (ITIL - Change, incident order management, etc)
SOX and GxP knowledge
Several years (+5) Pharma of experience together with a good understanding of processes/organization etc.
Experience with MS Office Tools, MS SharePoint and MS Project Plan
Team work in a challenging IT environment
Ability to work in an International as well as multicultural environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
Ability to deal with variable workload
