Solution Architect - DWH/Oracle/- Banking - Zurich
Start Date: February 2013
Contract: 6 month +

One of the leading Banks in Switzerland is looking for a senior highly skilled Solution Architect who has extensive experience within the DWH field working on multinational and complex projects.
This is a challenging position where the solution architect will be working along side 2 other architects and a lead architect on a large global programme involving 50 other team members.
This is a fantastic opportunity to define and design core implementation principles of the global Datawarehouse for one of the biggest banks in Switzerland.
The programme is currently running 7 initiatives and the solution architect will be looking to work directly with all areas on follow up releases and providing end to end architecture.
Essential Skills:
- More than 8 years experience in DWH design and implementation
- At least 5 years of experience as an Solution Architect in a Commercial Environment
- Extensive knowledge with Oracle as a DB tool
- Excellent knowledge with Transformation Tool; Powercenter Informatica
- Solid skills working as Data Modeler (approx. 10 years) regarding relational/dimensional modelling
- Profound experience in ETL design (min. 5 years) of global DWH for blue chip companies
- Strong skills in applying SQL/PLSQL
- International experience (ideally in the Banking industry)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independent
- Very familiar with ETL packages
- The ability to steer things forward
- Good English communication skills - German speakers would be an additional bonus
