Our giant pharma client is looking for Application Engineer-SAP SD Module for 3-6 months contract based out of Base, Switzerland
Project Description:
Performing analytical activities and all software development tasks. Incorporating technical and operational requirements into IT solutions.
Main Tasks:
-Enable end users within DSTC to take full advantage of the system in an efficient and effective manner by providing 1st level support
-Support running change requests affecting DSTC
-Provide support related to interface SAP - GTS
-Ensure best quality local master data and take corrective action where appropriate
-Establish process for SAP S&D housekeeping in DSTC
-Maintain and further develop ChemSAP System and related business processes
-Ensure up to date business process documentation
-Analysing problems (business processes, transactions, data, functions)
-Defining system requirements (functional/qualitative requirements)
-Analysing the technical and business environment (workplace, target systems and platforms, framework organization)
-Constructing models in terms of data, functions and/or objects
-Implementing applications
-Setting up and maintaining environments for developing and testing
-Create and maintain project documentation (test, application, user manual)
-Project Estimating
-Specification and implementing interfaces
-Developing or choosing the appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development
Special Requirements:
-Profound knowledge of SAP SD module with detailed system expertise
-Analytical and structured working style and experience in projects
-Sound understanding of Supply Chain Process with focus on planning and logistics execution
-Well-developed sense of urgency with high customer focus
-Flair for teaching of process/system related topics
-Expertise in development of business documents (user requirements, manuals, SOPs)
-Advanced skills in written and spoken English as well as basic German skills
