C++ Developer
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement software solutions to solve scientific problems
* Support scientific and IT groups as a consultant on HPC
* Must be able to develop, research, and persuasively present technical strategies and options to senior IT managers and scientific customer groups
* Process and system standardisation and documentation
* Display a "can do" attitude
* Working in cross-functional and cross-site project teams
* Effective time management, being able to balance ad-hoc requests with long term projects
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in a science, maths, computer science etc subject or relevant experience
* Experience of working in life sciences
* Five years of relevant experience
* Experience of HPC, grid computing etc
* Experience in scientific programming skills could include
o Python
o Fortran
o C++
o MPI
o CUDA/OpenCL
