Für unseren Kunden suchen wir einen sehr erfahrenen C++ Software Entwickler wie folgt:
Job Dimension:
Develop and implement software solutions to solve scientific problems.
Working for and with scientists to accelerate science.
The position will report to the Basel Scientific Computing Manager.
Major accountabilities & Competencies
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement software solutions to solve scientific problems
Support scientific and IT groups as a consultant on HPC
Must be able to develop, research, and persuasively present technical strategies and options to senior IT managers and scientific customer groups
Process and system standardisation and documentation
Display a “can do” attitude
Working in cross-functional and cross-site project teams
Effective time management, being able to balance ad-hoc requests with long term projects
MUST-SKILLS:
Degree in a science, maths, computer science etc subject or relevant experience
Experience of working in life sciences
Five years of relevant experience
Experience of HPC, grid computing etc
Experience in scientific programming skills could include:
Python
Fortran
C++
MPI
CUDA/OpenCL
Qualification Rating:
Development:
C++ experience ( 8+ Yrs.)
OO-Development experience ( 8+ Yrs.)
OS:
UNIX experience ( 7+ Yrs.)
