Job Mission:
The Junior IT Communications & Product Marketing person is responsible for promoting and creating engaging Communication and Marketing content for the pharma Institute for BioMedical Research
IT supports the next generation of scientists in the project who in turn develop and maintain our impressive drug pipeline.
IT Awareness and Adoption are a global team who are responsible for the development of communication and marketing material to support
Our team’s mission is to raise awareness and train our scientists & employees. This role, it would include creating global emails, blogs, marketing campaigns, posters, digital signage, and other mediums to get our important messages out there and understood.

Job Dimensions:
The Junior IT Communications & Product Marketing person will report directly to Global Co-Lead, Awareness & Adoption (A&A) and will be a member of the A&A team based in Basel.
This role will work closely with both the Awareness (Communications) & Adoption (Training) teams equally to help define, create & deliver content.

Major Accountabilities
Create, develop, launch and upgrade communication plans and marketing content for IT as required for project deployments and other initiatives, including but not limited to; product launches, product upgrades, product retirements, training advertisement for software applications, incident outage messages etc.
Maintain our LMS (Learning Management System), and advertise accordingly
Work with key business partners in defining key messages, to help recipients understand the impact of technological changes

Must-Skills:
1 year’s experience in a communications/marketing role
Excellent working knowledge of common applications (Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint & Adobe)
Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications

Soft-Skills:
Strong communication, design & proofing skills in English and German
Experience & interest in working with social media
Able to work effectively as a team player, as well as use own initiative, and ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines.

Nice to have:
Natural science education or training
Learning Management Systems (LMS): General SCORM & LMS experience
