Project environment:A Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Solution Architect / Project Manager
Position goal:
• The customer is looking for a Solution Architect / Project Manager to lead a diverse set of re-engineering activities initiated under Optimization program.
• The candidate must have extensive experience with key technologies areas like Web-applications development (e.g. Java, GWT, J2EE), data integration (e.g. ETL), reference data management (e.g. MDM, MDB) and reporting (e.g. BI).
• Also he should have experience in managing stakeholders from IT and client side.
Main tasks / activities:
• He should engage a diverse set of IT owners, systems experts and key domain knowledge experts to assist on project activities.
• Manage and monitor the project plan to ensure successful completion of the plan activities and delivery of the project on schedule.
• Establish, implement and manage processes and procedures covering configuration management, including Change Control, Risk & Issues Management, Documentation Management and Project Quality Assurance.
• He should be able to take high-level activity description and work independently to define detailed architecture ensuring stakeholder buy-in is maintained.
• Evaluate requirements and produce high level solution blue-prints in conjunction with the Enterprise Architect/design team and in consultation with technical experts.
• Provide independent advice on the management of projects.

• Solid education and experience in IT
• Non-hierarchical, easy to work with, transparent and delivery oriented
• Well organized, process focused, efficient and cost conscious
• Loyal and well-liked by team, colleagues, managers and stakeholders
• Wide understanding of Financial Market business and proactively provides new ideas to solve business problems
• Fluent English. German & any other languages as a "nice to have"
