SQLServer DBA for Dynamic Forecasts
Location: Bussigny
Term: 12 months
ROLE PURPOSE
Provide SQLServer (2005 & 2008) database expertise, to ensure quality of the delivery, availability and performances for Dynamic Forecasts Program worldwide. Ensure the respect of the Globe standards and guidelines and ITIL processes.
DIMENSIONS/KPIs
- Timely implementation of Databases.
- Downtime of Databases.
- Adherence to GLOBE standards in the implementation of databases.
- Statistics on Requests and Changes.
- Feedback from GLOBE Centres.
MAIN RESPONIBILITIES
- Installation of SQLServer 2005 & 2008 new instances, according to Globe standard, on standalone or clustered Servers.
- Installation of Integration Services and deployment of SIIS packages from development to production.
- Installation of analysis Services.
- Troubleshooting and incident management for data services, Integration services and Analysis Services.
- Management of connections to database Servers.
- Management of users and privileges.
- Setup and troubleshooting of SQLServer replications
- Setup and troubleshooting of SQLServer Database Mirroring
- Ensure availability and performances by proactive monitoring of databases, and tuning on demand.
- Plan and follow-up worldwide deployment of SQLServer Service Packs and hot fixes.
- Follow-up and report on progress of the projects. Commit on deadlines and ensure delivery according to the agreed planning.
- Write and maintain runbook, to be used by offshore team.
- Provide L3 support to offshore team.

Required QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQLServer (Data Services, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services).
The knowledge of Oracle Database and Essbase is an advantage.
