On behalf of our client, an interesting international company, we are currently looking for a Packet Switch Core Network Engineer. This role is a full time contract position based in Zurich and a suitable candidate is supposed to start as soon as possible. The main responsibilities for this job are:
Must possess a rock-solid command of Packet Switched Core Networking protocols
Must demonstrate proficiency with theory and application of IP Networking Fundamentals
Must possess more than 2 year experience in SGSN/GGSN/PCRF commissioning, configuration, Acceptance testing and troubleshooting.
Ability to manage & report KPIs & Solve the KPI degradation, handle CSR of PCRF in Packet Core, suggest optimization methods.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with certain work pressure.
Ability to work efficiently, even under high stress levels and internal/external pressure.
Ability to provide specialized technical support in one or more areas, and to proactively share knowledge and learning with the global team.
In order to be considered for this position, you should have the following education and qualifications:
GPRS/WCDMA/4G network Knowledge and excellent PCRF product knowledge
Experience as a packet switched core network engineer with a carrier or other service provider is a strong plus
PCRF integration and deployment experience
Troubleshooting expertise as a field engineer, TAC Support Engineer
Relevant job experience with a Telecom Carrier or Service Provider support organization
Packet Switch Core Network with 5+ year's experience
CCIE or CCNP with 3+ year's experience
Extremely strong PCRF and R&S skills, without certification, may be considered
