For our client, a dynamic and multinational pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

Project Assistant/Project Coordinator - 12 months contract responsible for the delivery of qualified services in a local and/or partly global context.

Your tasks in this position:

  • Independently takes care of general administrative tasks in a defined time frame (what, when is given, eg correspondence based on keywords
  • presentations and tables following detailed instructions
  • administrative preparation of meetings
  • supervising basic tasks
  • welcoming visitors
  • keeping any kind of list up-to-date
  • Informs and supports the line manager/team and customers concerning administrative affairs
  • Acts along common predefined guidelines
  • Handling of administrative projects
  • Supports new employees in their introduction phase
  • Support organisation of work permits for the international project team members
  • Supports the line manager/team concerning administrative affairs.

Requirements:

  • Commercial training (eg Swiss Association of Commercial Employees, business school) or equivalent (eg other vocational qualification, must have good administrative skills/experience.)
  • Fluent in English, at least basic German skills
  • Experience in working with all major MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio)
  • Good communications skills: Informs communication partners reliably and exactly.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is a strong asset
  • Is open for new things. Adapts to new requirements and situations rapidly.
  • Improves own competencies by job relevant further education.
  • Is cooperative and shares information and knowledge in order to leverage the expertise of the team.
  • Contributes with the own behaviour to a comfortable working climate and the strengthening of the team spirit.
  • Takes on responsibility for own actions.
  • Takes on supervising tasks in case of new entries in the team.
  • Fosters contacts with partner within an existing network.
  • Shows commitment and reaches agreed objectives following the quality standards and the timeline.
