Application Architect - Information Governance and Management Data and Application architect
Location: Basel, Switzerland
Term: 5 months + extentions to follow
ROLE PURPOSE
- Analyze IGM processes in scope
- Information Risk Management
- IGM Inventories and Classification Process
- IGM Assessment
- ISEC Incident Management
- IGM Exception Management
- 3rd Party Connectivity
- 3rd Party Management
- Identify sources of master data (IGM inventories)
- Create meta data for inventories
- Analyze current application landscape
- Create the data and application architecture for IGM domain
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop the overall application architecture for IGM domain, ensuring that the architecture is appropriate across the business domain(s), evolves to meet changing business and technology environments, and adheres to the enterprise architecture
- Conduct industry and domain analyses for technology choices and directions
- Prepare data model
- Create technology roadmaps
- Capture architectural requirements
- Evaluate alternative approaches
- Prototype alternatives as needed
- Create architectural models and architecture documentation
- Develop application, component, data, and interface architecture for each application and project within the domain(s)
- Evaluate alternative approaches, prototype as needed, recommend solutions, create and maintain architecture documentation
- Create specifications for components and interfaces
- Lead reuse initiative for domain including policies and guidelines for common mechanisms while adhering to enterprise architecture
- May assist in analysing and modelling relevant business processes
- Analyze, design, realize and implement IT solutions, including:
- Devising functional and conceptual design specifications,
- Data and process modelling,
- Developing prototypes,
- Developing and unit/integration testing programs using the defined software development environment.

- Achieve agreed targets in terms of quality, time, cost and customer satisfaction.
- Architecture meets business requirements for growth, performance, flexibility and scalability.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Senior application architect (10 years+)
- Profound experience in Information Risk Management and Information Security processes and applications
- Ability to work in complex global environments (cross-divisional setup)
- Previous experience with RSA Archer eGRC is an advantage
