SAP BI Architect
Edelway is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. One of our best clients, a global multinational company based in Basel, is currently looking for a Senior SAP BI Architect to join them on a large programme.

YOU WILL
* Lead the definition and delivery of BI strategy to support SAP implementation
* Ensure both strategic and operation objectives are properly addressed and delivered
* Be accountable for the design of the BW architecture to support the reporting requirements with the flexibility to accommodate future changes.
* Be responsible to review developments and ensure their compliance with the guidelines
* Support the delivery of key transformation projects using SAP BI tools as the technology enabler to provide EPM, Business Intelligence and reporting solutions
* Define data architectures and the integration of data models between SAP and non-SAP systems
* Support the design and configuration of SAP BI solutions
* Advise our client on good practice approaches to defining reporting frameworks and KPIs to accurately and efficiently measure the performance of their organisation
* Demonstrate knowledge of client decision-making and support processes and key client business drivers
YOU NEED
* At least 6 years of SAP BI experience.
* ABAP background is a strong plus.
* Portal integration is a plus
* At least 8 years of experience in Business and IT, preferably within Pharma Industry
* Experience with full SAP implementation cycles in a senior BI technical role for large, complex BI initiatives in a global environment.
* Strong knowledge of enterprise datawarehousing concepts and their implementation
* Experience across extraction from multiple sources, transformation, loading, data life cycle management, reporting, advanced analytics, dashboarding, planning
* Strong data modelling skills
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive the issues to completion and deliver against milestones
* Ensures integration among project team members and local business/IT team members.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audience and efficiently interact with business
* Strong functional knowledge in Marketing/CRM (preferred), Financial reporting, Procurement, Logistics and/or Production processes
* Knowledge of Salesforce.com/CRM extraction will be a plus
* University degree or equivalent
* English - fluent spoken and written. Further languages are always welcome
