The Data & Reporting Specialist will be in charge of the technical design and coordination of development for our client's metadata application (provides SAP master data into SQL server and Oracle databases for complementary applications).
Responsibilities will include:
- Review functional specifications
- Analyse technical impact
- Review impact on technical design
- Propose technology and architecture
- Update technical documentation
- Submit technical design to architecture review meeting
- Provide development estimates (workload, planning)
- Coordination of development
- Review technical specifications
- Follow-up development delivery and testing
- Update development guidelines
- Development
- Develop SQL code
- Develop SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, BO, Cognos code/reports
Candidates wishing to apply for this role must be able to demontrate skills and experience in:
- Architecture technical design
- Database architecture and modelling
- Database replications technologies
- Reporting architecture and design (Microsoft, Cognos, Business Objects)
- Reporting development
- SQL Server 2005 & 2008
- Oracle 12
- SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Microsoft Transac SQL (stored procedure, functions etc.)
- PL/SQL Oracle
- SQL tuning

The contract is offered for up to 6 months in the first instance, with the possibility for extension at the end of the year.
