Position: Charles River Consultant
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Zurich Switzerland
Job Description
- Engineering or Science Graduate, MBA preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 5-10 years experience in implementing projects (complete SDLC) in the Investment Banking domain and good knowledge of the overall banking IT landscape
- Sound understanding of Banking and Capital markets industry
- Prior work-ex in the following areas:
- Full cycle of trading/compliance across asset classes: equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives
- Compliance rule writing and configuration
- Workflow configuration and integration of OMS and EMS modules
- Expertise in one or more of the following IB domain areas:
- Order Management Systems, Securities Processing, Risk & Regulatory Compliance, Reporting, Data Management (reference data - instrument, client/market data, LEI), Clearing & Settlement, Reconciliation and Exception Management, Trade Analytics, Strategy modelling and testing, HFT/Algorithmic Trading
- Experience in requirements gathering & documentation, functional specifications and use case documentation, functional test planning & test case generation
- Should have played customer facing role in operations or technology groups within the securities industry or in a service provider firm (technology or BPO/KPO type)
- Overseas experience preferably in US or Europe, no significant location-constraints
- Should be able to provide coaching/mentoring team members and provide domain guidance to technical teams as required
Good to Have (Optional)
- Experience in giving solution proposition to the client
- Team management skills
- Participated in RFP responses (if worked in IT services firm)
- Open to frequent travel/relocation
- Exposure to any similar IB domain SI products such as Murex, Calypso, Summit, Front Arena, Fidessa etc is a big plus
- Hands-on experience on PL/SQL, xls, FIX, SWIFT, TIBCO and other tools around BIG Data Analytics, MatLab, R etc is an added advantage
