APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Scope of Work:
- In a first phase the assignment will include analysis, specification, coding, testing and documentation of change requests in the payments maintenance project to become familiar with the payments applications.
- Fixing, testing and documentation of production issues and 3rd level support will be part of the job.
- Further assignments to different payments projects (eg "too big to fail") is possible.
- It is expected that documentation will be handled accurately within Subversion.
- It is expected that a candidate is willing to integrate into a team of most experienced software engineers. Teamwork and open communication are essential requirements.
- Due to the fact that we work with offshore people, English conversation (spoken and written) is required.
Qualifications/competencies:
- IBM Mainframe Environment (PL/1, IMS, CICS, IMS-DB, DB2, Change Man, CORBA, MQ) over several years is required (> 9 years)
- Experience with configtools as Clearcase or Subversion is required
- English conversation (written and spoken) is required
- Knowledge of payments business is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the banks Mainframe environment is highly desirable
