A part time Application Architect or Software Developer is needed by a multinational Pharmaceutical company based in Switzerland. Working initially 2 days a week you will be a technical specialist and use C#.Net and Java to create the application architecture for a specific Paperless Laboratory project.Responsibilities:
. Act as Technical Leader for the project
. Become familiar with the company`s application architecture
. Capture architectural requirements for the specific Laboratory project
. Evaluate alternative approaches and create architectural models and relevant technical documentation
. Devise functional and conceptual design specs
. Engage with the project`s Development Informatics Architect on the technical architecture
. Support software package evaluation
. Customize and create specific technical solutions according to user requirements
Skills Needed:
. 5+ years in application architecture, software design or software engineering or as a software developer
. Proven ability to create technical roadmaps and strategies
. Object Orientated Architecture and Design Principles
. C++ and C#.Net development skills
. Java, Javascript, HTML+CSS, HTML5
. Windows Operating Systems
. Agile methodology
. Capable of communicating technical issues to non-technical staff
. Excellent English communication skills and ability to travel across Europe
