For our client, a leading banking client located in Zurich, Swisslinx is now looking for a Senior Technical Analyst/Developer to support a sub-project of a firm wide, global transformation program.

Are you looking for a challenging contract in which you can bring your expert knowledge of Technical Analysis and Development in a DWH/Datamart environment? Then this might be your call!
In this challenging 6-months contract, you will be working with an IT Specialist team responsible for driving the technical side of the global transformation program which aims to extend and enrich the current DWH environment by applying virtual and physical data integration capabilities.
You will be working on a sub-project (Integrated Client Reporting) that is supposed to take data from division MIS Systems and move them into the cross-divisional MIS solution. A first release has just been successfully done.
You will be specifically responsible for interfacing and optimizing the sub-project with the main project. Therefore you will need to analyse the requirement, analyse the data structures and provide hands-on development where needed.
In order to be considered for this strategic project, Swisslinx is seeking candidates with the following profile:
- 7-10 years experience in Technical Analysis and Development
- Strong experience in Data Architecture and DWH/BI; Data Federation exp. is a plus
- Not only a strong understanding of Data, but also of business requirements/user needs; ideally experience with Financial MIS/Reporting Systems.
- Good team player with the willingness to get hands dirty when required
- Structured approach to analysis, development and especially problem solving
- Strong sense for managing the project interfaces to other initiatives as well as the client expectations
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
This project is meant to start in August 2012 and is based on an initial 6 months contract.
