Connect44 is looking for an experienced Datacenter Networking Engineer for our client.
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months renewable
a) to ensure proper intra- and inter-site connectivity (LAN/WAN Engineering).
b) to enforce security for the related LAN/WAN-network.
c) Planning, design, installation and initial configuration of LAN/WAN components (Switches, Router)
d) Planning, design, installation and initial configuration of security components (Firewalls)
e) Planning, design, installation and initial configuration of content networking components (Load Balancers, Proxies, Content Filters).
f) Capacity, performance and life cycle management for the LAN/WAN/security network.
g) To develop and enforce technical guidelines for the LAN/WAN-network.
h) Technical project management, operational support (eg troubleshooting of critical/emergency faults, review of operational guidelines).
The engineer is responsible for the development of the network architecture and implementation for newSunriseLAN/WAN services and the maintenance of the existing Network, Firewall and Load Balancer environment. The LAN/WAN ensures intra- as well as inter-site connectivity.

-Technical apprenticeship or similar through education or work experience.
- HF, FH or Dipl. Informatiker
- 3 years or more experience in similar position
- CCNP and/or CCSP
- Experience in Switching and Routing
- Firewall and Loadbalancer configurations
- English, German
-Cisco certifications CCDP/CCSP/CCIP
-WLAN, VoIP, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, IP Management Tools
- French
- Recognition of complex requirements and translation into solutions
- Ability to abstract complex solutions
- Ability to communicate with other employees and understanding for other cultures
