Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test software components used to automate anonymization operational runs. These are components around a core anonymization tool that is developed, integrated and owned by an outsourcing partner.
- Design and implement batch scripts on Unix/Linux platforms that are used to integrate and automate the anonymization solution for the department.
- Integrate all components of the department's specific anonymization solution with tools provided by CS technical infrastructure services. For example, Control-M, used to trigger and monitor automated tasks.
- Understand and implement stored scripts or stored procedures for Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server databases
- Understand scope and requirements, contribute/participate to design and own build and unit testing description
- At times work flexible hours to engage with other global IT teams
Requirements:
- Good experience with Java and systems development (design, development, integration, configuration management and documentation)
- Strong UNIX Scripting
- Relational database design, Knowledge of Sybase and/or Oracle databases is required.
- Essential is a data security background
- Many years' experience working in IT projects- good understanding of methodologies and life cycle
- Ability to estimate own delivery capabilities and communicate metrics such as delivery dates clearly and fairly.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively in highly interactive discussions with colleagues
- Awareness of new technologies and flexibility to adapt to these
- Need to understand and implement data protection like strong authentication, role based authorization, Unix security, data encryption, etc.
Aim of the project is to deliver a solution that anonymizes specific data for use in development and test environments. Key Words: Data security, Java and system engineering, integration.
