On behalf of one major client in the Pharmaindustry, Harvey Nash is currently looking for an Application Engineer (Image Analysis/Imaging) for an immediate project in Switzerland.

Project description

  • The ideal candidate should have a background in providing advanced technical support for Windows/UNIX/Linux workstations, and Servers, as well as Oracle knowledge along with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of imaging and image analysis systems would be of advantage. .

    Main Tasks

  • Support on complex technical issues including problems related to networks, Servers, workstations, and databases
  • Investigate and resolve problems installing complex imaging software (Definiens/Aperio/Colombus)
  • Identify solutions to work around open issues/problems that are under investigation or pending resolution (eg security issues for external user access)
  • Work directly with technology staff, to deploy and configure Definiens, Pipeline Pilot, and Columbus, Aperio software and Servers
  • Perform data migration/software updates

    Special Requirements

  • Strong communicator, forward thinker. Experienced in dealing with Scientists, researchers
  • Pharma Exposure would be a definitive asset
  • Advanced technical support For Windows/UNIX/Linux
  • Oracle Knowledge
  • Deployment/configuration of Definiens, Pipeline Pilot, Columbus, Aperio software and Servers
