For our client we are currently looking for a Senior Solution Architect in Zürich, Switzerland.

Duration: 6 months (with a possibility to get an extension)

Description:
In this challenging role you will be part of a global organization that provides large support and integration solutions. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the sales and business management teams on the one hand and delivery specialists on the other to drive and expand the business footprint in strategic customers. You will work together with other architecture professionals to design and plan custom information systems that will address and solve enterprise customers' business issues and enable our client to build successful and long-term relationships with its major customers. You will lead or provide expertise in functional project teams and be a key part of initiatives resulting in effective delivery, deployment, operation and support. Furthermore, your range of responsibilities will also include identification and/or mitigation of technical and operational risks giving review input for medium to very large projects and application of your specific knowledge of best practices in IT to business challenges. You will interface and network with other company team members in engagement and pursuit, sales and support and important partners in order to achieve maximum market penetration, sustainable growth, and customer satisfaction.
Experience required:
- Have at least 5-6 years of experience in solution architecting and project business
- Ideally you have a university or a technical university degree (BA or higher) or an appropriate combination of job experience and trainings in a similar architecting position.
- Technical understanding in specific areas such as, but not limited to storage and virtualization is absolutely necessary.
- You are internally motivated and have excellent communication and analytic skills, which allow you to interface well with customers and colleagues.
- Working on large infrastructure projects and support offerings for enterprise customers is your passion.
- You have a proven track record in the IT-Architect profession and strong leadership skills, are goal driven, and have a dynamic and energetic personality.
- You enjoy meeting internal and external clients and have excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at upper management level. You feel comfortable working in a large Matrix organization.
- Fluent German and English language skills (French is a plus), willingness to travel (within Switzerland, max. 20-30%) and a flair for teamwork round out your personality.
