For our customer in the area of Zurich we are looking for a (m/f)

Solution Engineer/Database Developer

We offer a challenging position with responsibilities in planning, design and development within an intercultural team responsible for a Credit Risk application.

As Solution Engineer you are independently building and implementing moderately complex componennts of the Middle Tier in JAVA and in the DB with PL/SQL.

You will contribute technical analysis, design and implementation of moderately complex components, manages proujects to build and implement the Releases, you work on multiple build components and interactions between the is understood

Requirements

  • 7 years experience as a JAVA Developer
  • 7 years experience in PL/SQL Database Development
  • Java, JSP, SQL, XML, HTML, WML, WSDL
  • J2EE, ervlets, Spring, JSP, EJB, JDBC, WebServices, JavaMail, JMS, Networking, RMI, IO, Swing, XML parser, Log4J, DRM and Ajax
  • Windows, Solaris Linux
  • Good knowledge of Oracle 10g, Oracle ETL tools and Oracle performance tuning tools/utilities
  • Know how developing Shell Scripts on Unix (Solaris)
  • Good financial Products background
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written), German is nice to have.
