Connect44 is urgently looking for RAN Field Engineers.
The Field Engineer is responsible for the Implementation of the RAN System and obtain Site Acceptance. The RAN Team consist of Field Engineers for 2G and 3G System.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Check Swap solution and provide input for partner Purchase Order
- Provide Technical support on site for I&C Partners before and during swap in case of troubleshooting
- Ensure performance & quality targets of I&C services provided by Partners
- Provide Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety checks on site
- Ensure Site Acceptence from I&C Partner towards Huawei and Customer
- Perform trainings to I&C Partner and Customer.
- Ensure data fill at Huawei & Customer tools (iSite and NetSite)
Requirements:
- At least 5 years working experience in Wireless Access Network projects (specially wireless swap project)
- Very good knowledge and experience of RAN of GSM/CDMA/UMTS networks
- Good knowledge with NSN/Ericsson/Huawei GSM/WCDMA equipment; familiar with network architecture, all related interfaces and protocols, typical signalling procedures etc.
- Analytic approach to technical issues
- Ability to implement and supervise installation, commissioning and testing independently (including Technical Site Survey and Acceptance)
- Strong troubleshooting skills regarding FLM/SLM
- Bachelor degree in Telecommunication or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Based in Zurich or Bern
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
- Fluent English and German language, French is an additional asset
- Comprehensive work experience inside the world leading telecom manufacturers or operators is strongly preferred
