Senior Java Developer required to work for an Investment Bank based in Zurich.
This is a hands-on role that includes liaising with business stakeholders and analysts to gather and understand new requirements, designing and implementing new solutions as well as extending existing implementations. As the successful candidate you would work as part of a small development team to enhance and maintain the Pricing and Trading Flow systems for the FX Listed Product business. The development team are focussed on the business delivery pipeline, working iteratively and delivering functionality to production on a weekly basis.
Required Experience/Skills:
- At least 5 years hands-on professional experience with JAVA SE & OO development
- At least 3 years experience with Java development in a multi-threaded non-J2EE environment.
- Experience with high performance, high throughput systems, test driven development,messaging technologies (JMS/RV/EMS/MQ)
- Experience working within the financial sector (preferably within FX Structured Products or FX derivatives) is desired, but not required
