Overall Job description:
- The RAN ARC Team manages a multi-vendor 2G & 3G network and our prime objective is to help Huawei Limited provide the best service to our customers' network.
- As part of this team you will be involved in ensuring network availability is always at a maximum and that all service interruptions are kept to a minimum in accordance with theSLA's and KPI's.
Responsibilities:
- 1st Point of contact for all RAN related availability problems.
- Monitor network availability, ensuring allSLA's and KPI's are met.
- Take ownership of network faults and planned/unplanned service interruptions, managing them through to resolution or escalating where required.
- Ensure all faults and service interruptions are captured in the trouble ticketing systems, providing regular and accurate updates.
- Follow all processes and procedures, identifying and informing the FODM of any improvements required.
- Interface/provide support to, FOps, all Vendors, all Suppliers and other keys areas of Operations/Business with regards to RAN related issues.
- Identify training and other requirements, updating the FODM with recommendations/requirements.
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of 2G/3G Radio Access Networks, 1 years 1st Line 2G/3G experience
- Experienced with fault finding process and management platforms
- Working knowledge of 2G/3G Core networks, services and applications
