QA Tester - Geneva
Our client seeks a QA Tester for a business critical global web application role
Key tasks and responsibilities:
. Collaborate with the development team
. Implement suitable processes to perform overall system and performance testing
. Make full use of automated processes where appropriate, and advise on suitable approaches and tools.
. Assess the overall quality of new software releases and advise on when changes can go to production . Develop a clear understanding of overall business processes and contribute ideas about the impact on making changes
Education & Professional Skills/Experience:
. Solid QA test with solid experience QA testing CMS (Content Management Systems).
. Solid Agile QA testing experience.
. Experience writing BDD specs in Gherkin syntax and expressing acceptance tests for an agile story
. In depth knowledge of web technology, including knowledge around web standards, HTTP, cookies, caching, JavaScript and browser rendering of HTML and CSS
. Experience of test automation tools with QTP and Loadrunner
