Our client in the Finance Industry, seeks a C# Web / "Business Objects" Developer and analyst for an extremely long term position in Zurich.Technologies used in the system:
*Database / ETL: Oracle 11g
*Reporting: Business Objects ; Panorama NovaView
*OLAP (MS BI Stack 2008: SS AS, MS SQL Server)
*Microsoft IIS, MS .Net, C#, MS Visual Studio
Job Description:
The role is for an applications developer with a good knowledge of web technology: MS .Net, C#, ASP, ASP.Net, VBScript, Java Script, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft IE
Team and role activities include:
*Development and maintenance of a Web-based interface
*Development and maintenance of a Business Objects universe
*Administration and design of dashboard-based reporting solutions using Panorama BI tool
*Provide level 3 specialist support for the above technology
*Face the users to gather the requirements, advise and provide the support for their reporting
*Performing impact analysis, testing, User Acceptance Testing and documentation
Requirements:
To be effective in this role the candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:
*Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Software Engineering
*Minimum 3 years work experience as a Web developer
*Extensive reporting experience (Business Objects and/or any BI reporting tool)
*Experience with MS Office: Access, Excel, VBA
*Experience in banking/financial industry (desirable)
*Fluent English is a must, German - beneficial
