NOC 2nd level Support Engineer - for a new Telecoms NOC being set up in Switzerland we require engineers with support skills for fixed networks. You will be tasked with 2nd level support of the fixed networks, configuration management, Fault Management, trouble ticket escalation, identifying and solving network problems, updating network structures and carrying out preventative maintenance where necessary.
Your skills will include:
GSM and UMTS experience, in particular with BSC, BTS, Node B and RNC equipment. Experience of working with ETSA repeaters is preferred and a thorough understanding of microwave links. Vendor equipment knowledge of NSN, NEC and Huawei will be necessary. German language would be a benefit.
This is a contract position based in Switzerland. The project start is in June 2012, however the client would like to ensure the team is ready to start in June and will start to conduct interviews over April already.
