JAVA Application Performance Expert - for new release of an online banking platform
Tasks:
Responsibility for performance assurance, across a diverse range of banking applications
Responsibility for analysing the dynamic behaviour of systems under load in order to identify and resolve root causes of performance or stability issues
Working in a challenging environment with large scale applications and a well established team of about 20 performance experts, that fosters team support and a mutual exchange of ideas
Requirements:
- A Graduate or Postgraduate level of education majoring in Information Technology
- Software development experience in Java (JEE) and a good understanding of C
- Previous experience in performance analysis of complex IT systems
- Previous experience in leading small technical teams is desirable
- Previous experience using load generation tools (LoadRunner, Grinder, JMeter, etc) is desirable
- Interest in statistical analysis and the ability to convey this information into an effective reporting format for both the IT and Business departments
- Flexibility in terms of working hours and an appreciation of the performance testing cycle within the software release process
- Fluency in English is essential and a good understanding of German is advantageous
