EMC Documentum System Engineer - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced SE to provide stable ECM infrastructure. The SE will be responsible for the design, the engineering, the documentation and the transition of generic infrastructure services as well as the enhancement of existing services, mainly based on 3rd party products.
Primary Duties;
- Develop standards and procedures for the operations and maintenance of the ECM and EIA infrastructure;
- Evaluate and introduce 3rd party products with a structured approach;Provide consulting to projects and help them to develop smart solutions for their specific ECM requirements;
- Create technical documentation and keep it up-to-date;
- Technical contact to suppliers and responsible to resolve product issues and discuss future requirements or trends;
- Represent the ECM Infrastructure team in business and IT projects;
Skills Required;
- UNIX (Solaris, Linux) and Windows Servers;
- Either Microsoft SharePoint or EMC Documentum Content Server (Preferred);
- Basic SQL query language;
- Script languages like Bourne Shell, Power Shell or Perl;
- English is a must
