Web Application Developer
For my Large Banking client based here in Zürich, we are looking for a Web Application Developer
Location: Zürich Switzerland
Start: 02.04.12
End: 04.08.12
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential: University degree in computer science or equivalent
TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE EXPECTED FROM YOU
Essential:
- Web Application Programming (ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML)
- Relational Database Servers Experience
- Experience User Account Management
- Structured Documentation
Desirable:
- Perl Programming
- Sybase Products (ASE, IQ, RS)
- MSSQL and Oracle experience
WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
Essential:
- Structured Development
- Proven IT Infrastructure Engineering Skills
- Working Experience in Standardized Large and Distributed Environments
- Problem Solving and Cross-Technical Integration
- Testing, Documentation
- Work Experience in International Teams
Desirable:
- Working Experience in Large Financial Organizations
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Ability to collaborate with people located in different regions
- Ability to communicate effectively between different time zones
- Ability to work efficient and drive results under pressure
- Must adhere to the quality commitments of the firm
The open position is focused around delivering a web based DBA tools ie:
- Development and Maintenance of Web GUIs & Web Services
- Development and Improvement of in-house tool set used by DB Operations
The role will also include evaluation and migration of existing ASP web applications to ASP. Net
