Senior Market Data IT Engineer - Our client, a major Financial Services company, is currently looking for an experienced Market Data Engineer with strong knowledge of RMDS (Reuters Market Data System) and UNIX.
Main tasks and activities:
- Implementation of RMDS (Reuters Market Data System)
- Implementation of RMDS changes
- Implementation of Contribution systems (for internal/external market data contribution)
- Implementation of Contribution systems changes
- Coordination of efforts in the market data IT integration team
- Prioritization of tasks in the market data IT integration team
- 3rd level support for RMDS/Contribution
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills/experience:
- Proven knowledge of RMDS (Reuters Market Data System)
- Experience with TCP/IP Networking
- Good Knowledge of Market Data Contribution (Gissing contex)
- Experience with working in banking IT environment
- Independent and responsive in character and work
- Ability to structure and drive things
- Capacity to work under pressure
- Good level of communication, commitment to work in a decentralized team
- Good command of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
