SAP APO Roll-out Project Manager (Contract)
General Overview
Managing an application in such a way that it meets the ongoing and future needs of a defined business area. Providing high level expert, technical support and consultation to the business (Consumer/Pharma Supply Chain) and IT management.
The APO BUIT roll-out candidate will work together with the stream leader to identify and analyze business requirements and processes to design, to develop and implement APO solutions. It is included in his role the research and evaluation of alternative solutions and recommends system design solutions.
Key responsibility is to coordinate the implementation of a new template changes to support roll-outs in markets implementing SAP/APO. This will also include collecting and fine tuning the business requirements, support the project planning plan and supervising the implementation of application changes by involving all relevant parties (e.g. IT, QA, Business).
The BUIT candidate will support the project leaders in the oversight and report for requested project tasks, including all aspects of business analysis, development of requirements and system implementation.
It is also required to contribute to outlining performance qualification testing and validation plans, as well as a contribute to guide the business on creating key messages to be used in change management plans and training material content
Working together with SNP Stream leader and business project manager, the consultant will focus on the following goals:
• Present and propose solution to project stakeholders
• Provide input for the design of the technical and functional solution to the technical resources
• Review and validate the detailed design of the technical solution
• Respect the J&J process methodology, following SDLC requirements and STF way of working
• Manage the test approach through the “path to production”, supporting also the UAT
• Coordinate and Support technical & business cutover activities.
• Provide direct support to end-users. This activity may include direct contact and training
As part of this role, it’s required the ability to work respecting deadlines, managing possible workload peaks and pressure, and managing conflicting requirements
It may be required a certain level of flexibility in order to be involved in other projects if required.
Minimum experience required:
• Minimum 5/6 years of experience in APO SNP area
• Experience as consultant for implementation of SAP projects, especially in the APO SNP area
• Fundamental knowledge of business process analysis and design, system architectures, technology standards
• Experience in the advanced modules of APO (that experience should come from direct implementations, roll-outs and/or solution design)

b. Capacity Leveling/ Deployment
c. CTM / Optimizer
• Experience in R/3 module, like MM, is required
Mandatory & preferable skills:
Deep knowledge of demand & supply business processes, especially in the FMCG and make-to-stock environments, with preference for food/finished good companies and/or pharmaceutical products.
• Knowledge in SNP & PPDS master data, concepts of various heuristics and transportation lane management in APO
• Knowledge of ATP, VMI, TLB will be a plus
• SAP certification in any of the above modules will be a plus
