Application Developer
For a leading banking client we are looking for an Application Developer in Zürich, Switzerland for 6 months +.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provide solutions for the internal developed internationally used Java applications
-Responsible for the software development cycle
-Diagnose and resolve application problems
-Implement and coordinate updates, upgrades and changes
-Liaison with internal and external service providers
-Maintain documentation and company standards
-Maintain a very good knowledge of the installed applications
-Establish and maintain relationship with internal and external providers
Requirements:
-Minimum 6 years+ of application development experience
-Very good programming knowledge
-Very good knowledge of Java Platform
-General IT infrastructure knowledge: Windows Server
-STRONG analytical skills
-STRONG communication skills
-Strong coordination and organizational skills
-Very good understanding of the software development life cycle model
-Innovative and creative
-Project Management experience is a plus
-Ability to work independently with minimal directions
-Know how and where to find the needed information to complete the assigned work
-Flexible
-Solid understanding of the IT business
-Good interpersonal skills
-Client and solution oriented
-German and English - very good verbal and writing skills
-Teamwork - ability to work with people
-Willingness to adapt and to learn new skills and new ways of doing things
