Lead System Architect, Long-term Contract, Basel, Switzerland. For our client, Swisslinx is now seeking a Senior System Architect for the infrastructure area to help consolidating existing data centers into new redundant facilities.
Senior System Architect, Long-Term Contract, Basel, Switzerland
In this long-term contract opportunity you will provide subject matter expertise in the area of data center architecture, management and operations, IT system implementation and migration, as well as virtualization. Furthermore you will act as a lead architect, taking on full responsibility for the data center project. Together with management teams, you will be providing complex, contextual advice regarding system architecture, migration requirements and schedule.
In order to successfully lead this project, you will be required to commit to 10% travel between the data centers.
In order to be considered for this contract role you will have acquired a University Degree or adequate equivalent, and have at least five years of experience in a data center domain role in a global company.
You will furthermore possess the following skills and attributes:
- Been fully responsible as team lead for a data center project.
- Several years of team leading experience
- IT process experience such as ITIL
- Validation practice experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure
As you will be working in an international and hence English speaking environment, solid English skills both written and oral are mandatory.
