For our client we are currently looking for a Uniface Analyst/Programmer in Zurich, Switzerland with the following skills:
Description:
Working within a small IT team developing and maintaining front to back infrastructure for Banknotes and Precious Metals. This system is mainly developed in Uniface with some 3GL interfaces. The role covers the complete development life cycle from analysis, testing and 3rd level support.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in a development & analytical role
* Experience with Uniface version 9 Development & Architecture (Client Server, N-Tier, Web Deployment)
* Compuware License Manager (DLM) know-how
* Good understanding of Relational Databases and design models. Sybase and or Oracle skills are desirable
* Strong SQL (Performance/Tuning skills and or Database Design skills desirable)
* UNIX. Shell Programming, Session Environment Configuration, File Transfer Protocols
* Java skills would be desirable
* Ability to discuss requirements with business users or technical support staff
* Analytical skills, ability to design a solution for a requirement
* Provide technical support and assistance to the business or support groups when necessary
* Ability to work in a team and work independently
* Strong verbal and written communication skills both in English and desirably German Requirements AD
Finding Fee due to applicable finding partner contract.
