Our client is looking for third level support for their Windows Servers. The consultant will provide third level support (last internal level) for Wintel Servers according to agreed SLAs, and act as project coordinator for Windows server technology, within Datacenter & Markets.Main responsibilities will include:
- Install & implement Windows Servers.
- Support, troubleshoot and manage day-to-day Windows 2003
- Preserve Operating System from application impacts via Hotfix validation and massive deployments via SCCM
- Escalate problems to the respective organisation
- Be part of the Change/Release Team
- Provide root analysis and Detail Level plan to apply the change in a safe way
- Provide on request reports and support for troubleshooting and activity status
- Carry out overall planning and coordinating activities pertaining to the update projects, including testing phase, project charters, plans, and monitoring progress to ensure delivery to time and quality requirements
- Co-ordinate activities with the Windows2003 Team and ensure relation with all related ISIT Development and Support Teams
- Stand-by on duty
Candidates must have:
- 3+ years experience in a large IT information services discipline
- Infrastructure deployment experience
- Strong working experience with Windows 2003
- VB
- WSH Scripting
- Active Directory
- VMware
- System Center Configuration Manager 2007
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Good understanding of Enterprise System Management
- Fluent English
- Good French
This contract is for the duration of 2012, starting as soon as possible. The working language is English, French would be an advantage. CVs should be sent in English.
