For a long-term project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Project Manager - Data Management
In this challenging role, you will drive forward the execution of the Data Management Framework (DMF) supporting the three strategic objectives through the creation, support, and monitoring of roadmaps and plans.
Your Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager / PMO within Investment Banking
- At least 2 years working experience with relationship management in previous non PM/PMO roles (Line Manager, Coordinator, Client-facing)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of Data Management activities, a line or change control function is desirable
- Detail-oriented without losing the big picture, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to work through competing priorities and dependencies
- Structured work style with the ability to break down problems into component parts to aid resolution discussions
- Excellent communication and presentational skills
- Ability to motivate teams anywhere in the organization with skill to obtain senior stakeholder engagement to drive the organization towards data management improvement using existing, limited resources
- Fluent in English, German is an asset
Your Responsibilities:
- Being a trusted business partner to all divisional and functional, providing guidance, direction and clarification on the implementation roadmaps
- Work with all divisional and functional teams to review the plans in line with the execution approach and challenge those when needed
- Discuss complex topics with all levels within the organization from junior resource through to senior MD level
- Building and maintaining formal governance/management oversight of the roadmaps and manage the forums, creation of packs, actions, minutes, etc.
- Partner with wider team to identify detailed and thematic insights, highlight critical dependencies, and track progress in aggregate against the core Data Management Framework capabilities and strategic outcomes
- Identify/establish/validate effective controls to ensure appropriate quality of relevant deliverables
- Manage the reporting and follow up of risks/issues and appropriate escalation paths
- Monitor the project lifecycle, and control overall project management artifacts including governance, risk management, and escalation
- Leading the internal roadmap for IT and Business side to ensure that the functionality is progressed to allow progression across Data
