MS SQL Server Specialist (M/F) 100%
Project:
We are currently seeking an experienced MS SQL Server Specialist for our enterprise level customer in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Ensure operation of the data warehouse with the application management and production team.
Key Tasks:
* Structure of Power BI reports
* Further development of the data warehouse
* Participation in projects and taking over the management of smaller projects.
* Operation, monitoring and expansion of the data warehouse based on MS-SQL.
* Support of internal customers in the implementation of their requirements from a technical point of view.
* Coordination of updates and changes with the external suppliers.
* Ensuring the operation including the necessary documentation with the other team members of the IT department.
* Advice and support for the specialist department and as an interface between the internal specialist department and external suppliers.
Requirements:
* Several years of practical and project experience in operation and Maintenance of BI systems
* Experience in the operation and administration of an MSSQL server environment - Oracle knowledge desirable
* Knowledge of tabular model development, as well common data modelling techniques
* Experience in the operation and maintenance of BI systems
* Knowledge in the field of MS Power BI (DAX) is an advantage
* Interest in the analysis and design of data flows, loading processes and new operating models (DevOps, container infrastructure)
* Structured, solution-oriented, and practical working methods with a high level of quality awareness
* Completed University degree in computer science.
