For our client I am currently looking for a contracted Cloudera Consultant based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Key tasks:
- Design, build, deliver, and maintain Cloudera data platforms, other semi-structured and un-structured data platforms to meet customer requirements, and lead overall efforts in working with cross-functional teams
- Work together with L3 teams -Implement processes, standards, and governance of Cloudera technologies, other semi-structured and un-structured data platforms
- Provide subject matter expertise and leadership of the Cloudera platform contributing to integrated solution designs, development, and implementation
Experience required:
- At least 3-4 years of experience
- Strong Cloudera Admin knowledge
- Understand how clusters are setup very well
- Experience with one or more major Hadoop distributions and various ecosystem components (eg HDFS, Sqoop, Impala, Spark, Flume, Kafka, Nifi etc.) is a must while experience with Data Concepts (ETL, near-/Real Time streaming, data structures, metadata and workflow management) would be a big strength.
