For our client, a bank in Zurich, we are currently looking for an Application Specialist for the Windows Server Lifecycle.Tasks
Responsible for maintaining an IT Service or infrastructure component (Run-the-Bank):
- Responsible to provide 3rd level support (e.g. Incident & Problem Management) for the IT Service and for the local application instances (if any)
- Execute the lifecycle planning for IT Service
- Continuously improve the service availability, performance, capacity & knowledge management
- Provide IT Service Continuity Management; organize and execute disaster recovery tests
- Ensure that SLA, OLA are in place and manage deviations
- Maintain the Service Asset & Configuration management
- Be involved in the design of service architecture & integration
- Responsible for changing an IT Service or infrastructure component (Change-the-Bank)
- Design and Implementation of non-functional requirements to IT Services
- Responsible for definition, validation and execution of test cases
- Align with Release Manager on deployments into UAT and production environments
- Provision requirements, specifications and test cases for non-functional requirements to change
- Actively contribute to the development of the IT Service Owner community
Requirements
- Good knowledge of OTMS (Order Transport Management System- IBM product or equivalent e.g. Avaloq or Finova)
- University Degree in computer science (Masters at University/ETH/FH)
- Familiar with Java client/server architecture and Windows or Linux server stack
- Familiar with following tool chain: JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Octopus
- Very good understanding of software development/ customization processes
- Experience in application management and 2nd/3rd level support
- Certified Agilist and/or Scaled Agilist (SAFe) is a plus
- Knowledge in financial sector resp. specific business knowledge is a plus (e.g. payments, money market, new issue of structured products, equities and bonds, exchange traded derivatives like options and futures)
- Fluent in German, English is a plus.
