Job Title: Associate Engineer Project ControlsDescription:
The Technical Services department is responsible for safe, high-quality and cost-effective procurement and operation within the statutory and internal client requirements over the entire life cycle of production and infrastructure systems.
In order to advance the further development of the department, the team is looking for a: Associate Engineer Project Controls.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Manager in Capex budgeting process, including long range financial planning
- Generates Capex project progress charts, reports, presentations
- Monitors, evaluates and updates project cost data on budgeted amounts
- Develops and updates cost trend estimates and new techniques to support project costs
- Prepares and submits investment requests in cooperation with Manager and Project Leaders
- Submits reports on a regular basis to Manager and site management
- Interacts with different stakeholders to plan and schedule project activities
- Analyses data, identify improvements and recommends suitable actions
- Handles resource planning, milestone coordination and schedule tasks
- Conducts investigations to troubleshoot problems and leads changes to correct them
- Manages relationships externally and internally
- Supports with supplier related topics, such as purchase orders, invoicing
- Supports general administrative and organizational activities within department
Profile:
- Analyst, project controller with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven track record in Capex budgeting and forecasting
- Preferably project management experience
- Experience working with different stakeholders, internally and externally
- Preferably experience with in regulated industry (GxP)
- Experience working in the Life-Science Industry is an advantage
- Skills in time and self-management
- Analytical thinking
- 4+ years experince
- Language: German and English
- Experience with various calculation tools and systems, especially MS Excel
