Automation Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharma sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years of work experience as an MES Automation Engineer, experience in a GMP operational environment would be optimal
- Background within the Pharmaceutical or Biological industry is necessary along with experience with DeltaV would be an asset
- Expertise with working with MES systems, Emerson Syncade is preferred
- Know-how of writing technical Instructions from an operator or end user perspective paired with experience in working with P&IDs, PFD's, reading and interpreting process descriptions
- Abilities include working in cross function organization with Automation, Engineering, Operations and Manufacturing User functions
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Writing and reviewing Manufacturing Procedures like Technical Instructions on how to setup, run and dismantle Single Use and standard Biotechnology Process Equipment
- Being responsible for closing the gap between operations, QA requirements and the automation solution
- Translating Manufacturing Procedure into Functional Requirements which will be used to configure an Operation Management System
- Carrying out reviews as well as participating in incident review and reconciliation process following sFat and commissioning
- Attending critical project design review meetings along with assisting sFat and commissioning activities if necessary
- Working on Change management and implementation activities and providing technical know-how on other OMS standard functions like Material Tracking, Sample Management, EBRs and other
