Next Link Solution is a Swiss IT Consultancy Company that has been providing both IT services and IT staffing to major customers for the past 20 years, has an excellent opportunity that can take your career to the next level.
I am currently working with the world's largest Banking client who are looking for a C# Developer for a 6-12 month contract.
General Information:
Start date: 1st Feb
Location: Switzerland
Duration: 6-12 months contract, Extension: possible
Language: English - mandatory
Remote: Remote working to start with, and on-site once the COVID-19 situation improves and we all start to return to our offices.
TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
The successful candidate for this position will have the following experiences and expertise:
- Primary responsibilities -
• Analyze, enhance and maintain new Feeds Framework.
• Migrate existing Data Feeds, develop and maintain new Feeds.
• Understand the scope, impact and own delivery of the system in partnership with other development leads.
• Communicate/Coordinate with the Project Manager(s)/BA regarding configuration, releases and defects.
• Review all requirements and prepare/contribute to Design decisions & testing strategy.
• Contribute in continuous SME build out on Data being sourced across Products/Systems and related queries or explanation.
Qualifications –
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Software development experience of ~10 years, preferably in Banking Industry and/or Financial Services
• Strong hands-on experience in C# server side programming on highly multi-threaded distributed systems is essential.
• Proficient in database, including analyzing, writing complex SQLs especially in Sybase.
• Hands-on experience on developing Informatica 9 x/10 x and UNIX scripting will be good but not must.
• Strong understanding on Data sourcing/governance/management with understanding on Trade, Collateral, Netting, and Sensitivity Data will be good.
• Exposure to SDLC tools, such as JIRA, SVN, GIT and Crucible etc.
