IT-Desktop Support Analyst Basel User Service (m/f) - gSuite / Apple iOS and MAC knowhow / Mobile Device Management / ITIL Foundation

Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Region Basel we are looking for a IT Desktop Support Analyst, experienced with global matrix organization in a regulated environment. The Basel User Services team is searching for an IT Desktop Support Analyst to start as soon as possible. The team is looking for somebody who will provide Onsite support, install hardware, perform trainings and support the customers face to face in the IT Welcome Zone. The perfect candidate has a proven background in a relevant customer-facing role in a similar environment and is a strong communicator in English and German language. Candidates without fluency (written and spoken) in both languages will not be taken into consideration. Candidates already based in Switzerland and / or with a valid Swiss working permit will be preferred.

Areas of responsibility:
- Working with the given Ticketing tool Service Now and company-owned Asset Management Tools
- Progressing of Incident and Request Management Tickets according process
- Progressing Asset Management Updates according process
- Participation at IT Welcome Zone Shifts (5 hours, 2-3 times per week)
- Experience with and understanding of other technology domains, methods, etc. and their interactions.
- Implementation and coordination of hardware, software, network component installations
- Creating and maintaining of knowledge articles, operational manuals, user guides and checklists.
- Follow-up on hardware, software, network problems and initiation of the corrective actions and escalation procedures.
- Performing short training- / consultancy sessions for up to 20 end users.
- Contribution in continuous Improvement processes
- Represent Digital Workplace Services in Project Status meetings

Professional, technical and personal requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience working in a similar position in a global matrix organization in a regulated environment
- Advanced know how of the Google gSuite and Windows 10 in an Active Directory Environment (Know-how in gSuite will be tested during the interview)
- Apple iOS / MAC knowhow, experience with Mobile Device Management
- ITIL Foundation (v2 or higher)
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German language
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Customer friendliness and good communication and presentation skills in English and German
- Open minded, flexible personality
- Eager to learn & develop
- Sophisticated appearance
- Teamwork skills

- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with ServiceNow (Ticketing System)
- Experience in Project Management
- French language skills
