We are looking for a Javascript Data Visualization Expert Developer to further develop the EDISON (Enlightened Data Integration SOlutioN) Platform, which addresses the root causes of low data quality by harmonizing, automating and integrating the process in which clinical biomarker data is acquired and integrated. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing all dashboard and scientific data visualizations of the platform, as well as structuring and developing an internal data visualization library.General information:

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Design and develop ergonomic and performant interactive data visualizations and UIs for advanced analytics, based on user requirements
• Architect and implement high quality code
• Collaborate effectively, solve problems fast, and write awesome source code
• Contribute to technical decision makings
• Ensure scalability of the platform to a cloud enterprise solution
Must Haves:
• B.Sc in Computer Science or similar discipline ()
• +5 years professional data visualization software development experience ()
• Highly proficient in D3.js, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS4 and HTML5 ()
• Strong working knowledge of best coding practices (software craftsmanship, clean code, TDD/BDD/DDD, pair-programming) ()
• Strong advocate of writing Unit and End-to-end tests (Cypress, Nightwatch, Puppeteer, Playwright, Codecept)
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery ecosystems (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins)
• Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
• Ability to work in a multicultural geographically distributed team
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English
Nice to Haves:
• Experience with developing custom web components using Stencil.js or similar
• Good knowledge of one of the main UI frameworks (Vue, Angular, React)
• Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions (GCP, AWS)
• Previous working experience within an AGILE environment (ideally SCRUM)
• Affinity to good UX design, previous exposure to data analytics or data science projects
