Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent contract opportunity for a Cherwell Consultant.

Home-based and when safe to travel the consultant will be Geneva based.

Contract duration is 4 months with possible extension.

Rates:

340 CHF (remote)

560 CHF (onsite in Geneva)

The principle of the role is to provide bug-fixing and development support for the Self-Service Portal built on Cherwell Service Management tool.

The following are the initial important and time critical objectives:

  • To achieve the handover of the operational support of the Self-Service Portal in its current state under the guidance of the product owner
  • To review the feedback from the initial testing, propose the follow-up actions with time estimations and agree their priority and planning with the product owner
  • To review the design and implementation of the Self-Service Portal in regards to responsive design, propose the follow-up actions with time estimations and agree their priority and planning with the product owner
  • To review the single sign-on function for the Self-Service Portal, propose the follow-up actions with time estimations and agree their priority and planning with the product owner

For the duration of the assignment, the expectation of the consultant is to validate the self- service portal design and functionality and to propose improvements and alternatives where appropriate in particular in line with advances in the capabilities of the Cherwell Service Management product and user experience design best practices.

Tasks include:

  • To liaise with the Cherwell team and stakeholders regarding issues and requested improvements related to the Self-Service Portal and to develop and document their solutions
  • To work with the onsite self-service portal developer for the purposes of knowledge transfer
  • To identify risks with the current and future Self-Service Portal design and functionality and propose alternatives to the product owner
  • To advise the Cherwell team of Cherwell best practices related to achieving the desired outcomes
  • To provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of the engagement
  • To pass on the technical knowledge to the Cherwell team where appropriate to enable them to learn any new skills and techniques that may be required to realize the desired outcomes.
