Lead Technician (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Role model standard lab and / or process activities
- Likely to act as an informal resource for associates with less experienced and lead simple protocols under supervision
- Own and lead an intra-dept. process or working group
- Make a comprehensive record of all work
- Contribute to the writing of procedures, protocols and reports within those company quality systems
- Provide training on lab based processes including best practice and organisation of work to drive right first time analysis
- Involvement in continuous improvement activities to improve ways of working, labs and equipment
- Develop competence and technical knowledge
- Application of knowledge to assist in practical problem solving and able to identify problems and raise with line manager or colleagues as appropriate
- Comply with quality system, GMP and H&S procedures and role specific training requirements and moving towards mastering key skills and techniques within own area of specialism allowing routine problems to be solved without assistance
- Provide feedback on process improvements in order to improve support and refine task execution and project progress
Main qualifications
- Analytical and Formulation background
- Previous experience of working within a scientific environment or science as part of your education
- Preferably experience as technician within a relevant discipline with sufficiently broad capability and competency to satisfy the lead technician requirements
- English is mandatory, German is desirable
- You have developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable other job experience and worked within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may be able to help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
