IPPS IX Product Manager

Background:
Our Informatics team is co-creating a better future for patients through innovative technology and information initiatives with Global Product Strategy (Strategic Marketing), Pharma Development Medical Affairs and Pharma Partnering Business partners.
As a Product Manager in the team you will oversee a set of products that enable integrated business capabilities within, or across, these business domains. Being accountable for the products across their life cycle, ensuring in partnership with business leaders, that product value is realised and actively managed.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Co-creates an integrated product vision and strategy with business leaders in collaboration with IT experts (eg Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts) and external vendors. Bringing a value adding Informatics point of view to influence business ways of working and solutions.
Smells opportunities to create further value and in collaboration with the Product Owner prioritizes product backlogs, ensuring experts are heard to create the right balance between business criticality and quality.
Leads the formation of empowered squads orientated to deliver business value by continuously articulating the product vision and supporting squads in setting ambitious quarterly objectives based on business outcomes.
Advocates agile methods and behaviors, influencing how teams work and influencing stakeholders to deliver incremental value.
Manages strategic vendor and supplier relationships in collaboration with vendor management
Must Haves:
5y+ of experience working in Pharma (ideally Commercial & Medical Affairs)
5y+ of experience working in in business facing IT as a Product Manager, or senior Business Analyst/Project Manager
Experience in Data and Analytics (visualization, reporting, data strategies)
Experience working in agile software delivery/familiar with Product Management practices (eg Value Proposition Canvas, Agile Roadmaps, Evidence Based Management)
Proven experience interacting with different internal stakeholders including Senior Management
Can operate as a key partner of the business focusing on the value and business outcome of delivered solutions
Strong communicator, exhibiting the behaviors of an Agile Leader with an Agile Mindset, and able to inspire teams around a business outcome
Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity and has strong passion to bring value-adding technology to the business
